Bush pushes U.S. compassion in Guatemala

Remember that "compassionate conservatives" believe in pushing underprivilaged people to the edge of dispare so that they "repent" before they will give them aid. They say that this forces people to stand on their own two feet. "Compassionate conservatives" cut off wellfare to single mothers and invade small countries while claiming that they are helping them by these things.

Right now if I lived in Guatemala, I would be feeling really nervous.
